Dr. Hurme is a member of the American Association for Functional Orthodontics, the International Association for Orthodontics, the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, the Texas Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Hurme is a graduate of New York University, originally from Finland, and a former Olympian (Fencing and Modern Pentathlon).
